Grassroots Movement Calls for U.S. Public Congressional Hearings on UFOs
Following the release of the inconclusive U.S. Government UAPTF report, calls are growing for public congressional hearings on the topic of UFOs/UAP.
On 4, 5 and 6 September 2021, a grassroots telethon named The Big Phone Home 2, will attempt to ratchet up pressure on politicians to hold public hearings.
The event will feature a line-up of prominent guest speakers, including:
Luis Elizondo, Former Director of the Pentagon’s Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program
Hal Puthoff, Co-founder of To the Stars Academy, and former Research Scientist at General Electric, National Security Agency, Stanford University, Sperry & SRI International
Daniel Sheehan, Constitutional and public interest lawyer, public speaker, political activist and educator
Avi Loeb, Professor and longest serving chair of Harvard's Department of Astronomy, who is leading the Galileo Project.
The creator and host of the event is actor Luis Jimenez, who hosts his own YouTube show, named The Unidentified Celebrity Review, dedicated to the topic of UAP.
Speaking to Liberation Times, Jimenez commented:
“We are encouraging citizens to request Congressmen and Senators for more transparency and scientific discussion on the topic of UAP/UFOs.
“Based on official and verifiable evidence alone, the U.S. government has seemingly misled the public about UAPs and the absolute truth behind it for decades.
“This is a non partisan issue and I am urging people of all political persuasions to come together for the good of our democracy.”

The Big Phone Home 2, follows the first telethon, held back in April 2021, which advocated calling on U.S. politicians to ask questions and take the topic seriously ahead of the UAPTF report.

It is hoped that the second event can create an even larger impact. And with the calibre of speakers confirmed and speculation of other potential famous guests, this may be the case.
The event coincides with other calls for public hearings into UAP. As reported previously by Liberation Times, a former Air Force Veteran has called for public hearings, following serious incidents involving UAP and U.S. nuclear weapons.
Also, U.S. Congressman Democratic Congressman André Carson, recently expressed hope for public hearings to look into UAP, including one which would be public in the “very near future”.
