Air Force Veteran Calls For Public Hearings Following UFO “Incidents” Over Nuclear Bases

A former U.S. Air Force Captain named Robert Salas, has urgently called for the U.S. Congress to hold public hearings regarding UFOs, otherwise known as Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP).

Salas claims: “There are many ex-military witnesses who can verify UFO incidents of nuclear weapons bases.”

De-Activated Missiles

Salas was at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana in 1967, when 10 inter continental ballistic missiles became inoperative - at the same time base security informed him of a mysterious red glowing object in the sky.

Other retired veterans overseeing nuclear missiles, such as Robert Jamison, have alleged similar incidents. Jamison tells of several occasions when he had to go out and "re-start" missiles that had been deactivated, after UAP was sighted nearby.

Pressure Growing on Congress to Act

Salas has now started a funding page to raise money, which (in his words) would be used to used to, ‘support a press conference and lobbying activities in Washington DC with some of these witnesses in the coming months.’

Pressure is now growing on U.S. elected officials to act. The pressure has mounted since the release of an inconclusive U.S. Government report into UAP and subsequent memo from the Deputy Secretary of Defence, directing follow-up action.

Salas’ efforts coincide with a grassroots campaign named The Big Phone Home 2, a live three-day telethon. Both organisers and guests will request Public Congressional Hearings to key government officials as well as to share best practices for future success in the field of UAP research.

U.S. Congressman Democratic Congressman André Carson, recently expressed hope for public hearings to look into UAP, including one which would be public in the “very near future”.
