  • Adrian Reister was stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base between 2003-2007

  • During his time at the base Adrian witnessed glowing orbs in the sky, in one of these instances nuclear weapons were being transported

  • On a separate occasion, Reister witnessed and chased a ‘shadow person’, which somehow managed to enter the highly guarded base

  • Such incidents involving shadow people have previously been reported at Area 2 in Nevada, a reputed nuclear facility

  • Due to the culture that may persist within the USAF to this day, such events were not reported to senior officials - meaning the air force may not be aware of serious security breaches.

A former nuclear weapons technician has gone on the record for the first time to speak about disturbing security incidents he encountered at a U.S. Air Force (USAF) base, which stores nuclear weapons.

Whilst stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri, between 2003-2007, Adrian Reister claims to have witnessed two incidents involving Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) entering restricted airspace above the base and a serious security breach involving a ‘shadow person’, who Reister chased within the base.

Due to the lack of clear guidelines and stigma associated with such high strangeness, Reister felt unable to report the incidents to senior officers, stating:

“Nothing was ever reported. Because if you did, you might be considered mentally unstable and have your clearance and PRP status (personal reliability program) revoked.”

Journalist George Knapp has previously reported about similar events, witnessed by personnel stationed at the reputed nuclear weapons facility known as Area 2 in Nevada.

Reister was a highly skilled technician, trusted to handle nuclear weapons, as he explains:

“I learned to maintain, dismantle, destroy (EOD experience), transport, and provide security for the nuclear arsenal assigned to our base.”

His credentials have been confirmed and due to the nature of his responsibilities, he is a credible source.

Whilst serving at the base, Reister was very familiar with a whole host of USAF craft, including the B-2, F-117, and A-10, which would take off, land, and maneuver around the area.

But in two instances, he witnessed objects which he could neither identify nor explain.

Encounters With UAPs Above Whiteman Air Force Base

In his first encounter, Reister spotted an “orb” hovering along the top of the tree line when a nuclear weapon was being transported within the base.

As Reister explains:

“Naturally during this time I am being hyper-vigilant, and I notice a light or orb hovering along the top of the tree line, I’d thought it was just a star at the time but as I continued surveilling the area, the light/orb shot above the treetops and hung there for some time, maybe it was a satellite I thought.

As the transport team arrived and secured the weapon within the facility, the orb bounced a little in the sky then shot to the left (north) then shot 90 degrees straight up and disappeared.”

The object was unlike anything encountered by Reister before, despite his familiarity with all types of aircraft at the base.

The behavior exhibited by the object does not appear to match anything publicly known within the USAF arsenal. It also exhibited at least one of the famous five observables: instantaneous acceleration.

On a separate occasion, Reister saw another orb above the base whilst on sentry duty. The orb was stationary before disappearing, like in the first incident.

As Reister describes:

“All of the orbs or sky phenomena that I personally saw were the same single glowing orb, yellowish-white tint to it.”

Encounter With A “Shadow Person”

But the most significant incident, which haunts Reister to this day, involves what can be best described as a “shadow person”.

During the summer of 2006, Reister was working in the base’s support section, deep into the night, between 11 pm and 7 am.

He was by himself as one training crew was locked in a separate bay performing work on a trainer bomb.

He then began to hear footsteps from bare feet, not the sound of steel-toe combat boots he was accustomed to hearing. That’s when events took a very weird turn, as Reister describes:

“The sound went away as I looked up and scanned the room. Not seeing anything I just shrugged my shoulders and went back to work.

Within a few more minutes I heard barefoot walking again, away from the support area, and this time I got up to look around.

I saw what I can’t really describe as other than a black mass in the shape of a person standing at 6ft, not really a shadow but something that was slightly blurry and didn’t reflect any light… it quickly turned the corner into the admin area of the shop, and I chased after it like a madman.

As I ran down the length of the wall from the support section and into the admin area I searched high and low, there’s not really a lot of places to hide in that section, just a few offices and a breakroom. I’d been thorough in my search but I still ended up empty-handed.”

As Reister puts it, nobody enters or exits the base without processing through the front security doors.

All other doors were secured at the time and had security seals that are broken if a door is opened. If that were to occur, USAF Security Forces are notified of a breach.

On the night of the event, no seals were broken and it cannot be explained how this figure entered and exited the facility.

Events NOT Reported Up Chain Of Command

None of the events described was reported up the chain by Reister due to the culture which exists within the USAF. Reister was more fearful of getting in trouble himself, rather than the national security implications at the time.

In the incidents documented by George Knapp, ‘shadow people’ up to seven-foot in height, were reported by security officers, but not taken seriously by senior bosses.

The shadow person encountered by Reister is not an isolated event. Whatever it represents, such incidents must be taken seriously. As Reister puts it:

“Whether it’s a person, a wolf, a rat or a rabbit - no one besides authorized personnel should be anywhere near a base which stores nuclear weapons - the culture must change - if the USAF took a comprehensive approach, it would notice a pattern of similar occurrences at other bases, which should make senior officials take note.”

Incidentally, Whiteman Air Force base is home to the 509th Bomber Wing that recovered the alleged crashed craft at Roswell.

Stigma Still Exists With USAF

It is unclear whether the orbs spotted by Reister reflected Russian or Chinese technology.

That certainly poses a problem, especially if serious security breaches are occurring to this day at nuclear facilities.

And if security is breached, global security is at risk.

Although the UAP issue is no longer associated with the stigma it once was, the USAF appears to be very aloof about the topic.

Regarding UAP, Secretary of the USAF, Frank Kendall, recently said the following to POLITICO journalist Bryan Bender::

“I’ve given a great deal thought to defending American airspace but not against UFOs.

I don’t consider it an imminent threat to the United States or the human race, these phenomenon occurring.”

Such comments may be questioned, especially when last June’s UAP Task Force report could not conclude whether the phenomenon represented ‘Foreign Adversary Systems’.

Reister hopes he can encourage others within the USAF to speak up about encounters they have had. As he puts it:

“The stigma is evaporating and this topic is being taken seriously at the highest level of government - hopefully, we can now have a serious discussion about our national security.

“Our air force is full of heroes, who we rely on for national and global security, and we should encourage and listen to those who we entrust with our nuclear weapons or who regularly put their lives at risk.”

New UAP Office Will Increase Pressure On USAF

New legislation signed into law by President Biden in December 2021, includes the provision of a new UAP Office, which will be established by the Secretary of Defense in coordination with the Director of National Intelligence.

The legislation requires the new Office to collect and analyze incidents involving UAP and military nuclear assets, including strategic nuclear weapons and nuclear-powered ships and submarines.

And with appropriations committees involved (which control Congress’s pursestrings) and an ongoing Inspector General evaluation ongoing, there will be immense pressure on branches of the U.S. military, including the USAF, to cooperate and encourage reporting of such incidents encountered by Reister.

Reister’s encounter with the shadow person poses the question as to whether any future UAP investigation may have to broaden its scope of phenomena. Although such encounters seem like the stuff of science fiction, we cannot ignore claims that nuclear weapons bases are being infiltrated.

And it certainly is a fact that invisibility cloaking has been experimented with by militaries across the world. In fact, the U.S. military has experimented with an ‘invisibility suit’, which would render the wearer as a coloured shadow or ghost image”.

If such incidents described by Reister are occurring regularly without the knowledge of senior military officials and elected members of Congress and those within the White House responsible for security, then it represents a serious defense issue at a time when Chinese and Russian technology is accelerating rapidly.

It remains uncertain whether the USAF is aware of the extent of security breaches itself, due to the stigma that may persist today.

However, there is doubt as to whether the Chinese or Russians are responsible. Such encounters between UAP and nuclear weapons have been reported since the 1940s.

And in 1967, Robert Salas, an on-duty commander of a nuclear missile base in Montana claims that nuclear missiles were inexplicably disabled while a UAP silently hovered nearby.

At a press conference in October 2021, Salas along with three other former veterans spoke about their encounters with UAP whilst working with the U.S’ most destructive weapons.

If such incidents do not reflect any nation of Earth, then it poses both an unknown potential threat and a momentous opportunity to discover new science and technology.

Although the U.S. government cannot conclude what UAP represents, further insight is expected in October this year, when the new UAP Office releases its first unclassified report on its findings.
